Title: Fantasy-Asia ship for Man O'War, and appeal for sources of similar craft!

I picked up this toy ship, which is from the anime One Piece (which I know jack all about) at a video game expo on the weekend. It should take paint well, and it's a bit on the huge side.

Here's a shot of it tangling with a Dwarf fleet for scale purposes. I'm envisaging it as the flagship of a fantasy-Asia fleet and I come cap in hand to the geniuses of Lead Adventure with the question: Who does Japanese/Chinese warships at any size compatible with Man O'War?

I imagine my options are going to be limited to junks, junks and more junks and I'm happy with this, to be fair.

Hi!

Spartan games do some junk style ships for their Ralgard fleet but they are a bit on the big side for man o war. There's also some of the historical manufacturers who make 1:1200 scale junks.

The Ralgard Spartan ships are nominally 1:600. I estimate the ones designated as frigates, escorts or destroyers (smalls) would be about the same size as a 'cruiser' (medium size) class from Man O' War.

The Ralgard mediums would likely dwarf the biggest Man O' War vessels.

To pick up with Spartan Games, they recently released a Chinese Fleet for Dystopian Wars. Those are much more steampunk than fantasy, but quite well-done stylistically, IMHO. I guess it depends if your Asians use wind or steampower, but some of the smaller ones could plausibly be converted to galleys or sailing vessels as they take more than just a hint from Turtle ships and junks.

A majore "pro" point for Spartan would be the quality. I've got a huge load of their Dystopian Wars stuff, some Firestorm Armada too, and they were all excellent castings and very easy to assemble. Some show slight serrations from the 3d printing process, though, but with the right painting method, it is easy to overcome.

The smaller Chinese ships from Dystopian Wars are perfect! Nice price too! Thanks man.
