Thanks for sharing a report of the battle.
Looks like it was a close run thing.
Interesting way for army morale, like the idea.
Will have to try some rule like that next time I play the time period.

This is a great account of the battle - some of the clashes between the forces prior to the battle itself are well described and might make interesting games in their own right :)
