Post by: thebinmann on 20 October 2013, 12:03:24 PM
Hi

Has anyone used these:

They seem to be ok, and at the moment I can't spring for the Hotz one

Thanks

Yep, I use that desert sand one on my Old West board. I added some tufts of browny/green grass to make it a bit more interesting. I'll get a pic or two later for you. I quite like the effect.

Yep used them in the past. A little spray with another colour helps to break it up .

Here you go. I glued my mat to the back of a framed whiteboard. I have limited space so the board came in handy for small skirmish games. I a to get another to expand gaming area and show a bit more of the town.

If I did it again I'd probably do that as the colour does need breaking up a bit.
