Here's a battle report from a game I played with a friend of mine a couple weeks ago.
1500 points, my Evil army of Men and Undead vs his unholy alliance of Dark Elves and The Rising Sun Empire.

Really reinforced why I like this game. It's fast and tactical at the same time. The various abstractions the game uses don't make the game feel any less tactical, rather, it really makes it seem that you are rewarded for in-game decisions more than pre-game list-making. A couple members of the club are trying their hand at making KoW armies so I hope to be playing this game alot more in the future.
A few pics to give you an idea of what's in the full writeup.

What models did he use for the Rising Sun army? I'm looking into making a Samurai army for KOW atm myself.

He used Clan War miniatures. I'm not sure how many of them are currently in production, but they are beautiful figures that I often see going for a song in trading forums.

Nice report ! What did you use for your table mat ?

I'll check with my host, but I think it was the paper flocked roll that is sold for use on model railway displays.
