As the title says, I am looking for a landsverk l60 in 28mm for some 1930s Irish armor.
-
the Hungarian also made a version of it called the Toldi
-
I would like one or two as well... for the Dominican Republic. :)

I think I can remember someone had covered one. will try and remember where.
(additional) turns out it was a Stridsvagn m/42 sorry.

Darn, how much bigger was the Stridsvagn compared to the landsverk? Do you think it would make a decent proxy? Also who makes the Stridsvagn?
-
Who made that M/42?

Who made that M/42?
It's a Stridsvagn M/41 (licensbuilt t(38) made by Scania) based on a Chieftain t(38) whot I converted slightly.

Nice, I like it. I guess a pz 35 will make a decent landsverk with some modification.

I meant who made the model

I meant who made the model
Hammers did iirc. :)

Oh I see. I didn't understand. Cheiftain being the manufacturer and not the tank! (I thought it was a bit weird)

A Chieftain t(38) would be a interesting kitbash indeed.
-
So which one of these do you thinking would make the best chaise base for conversion work?

Leaving aside that none of them have the right running gear and that's the hardest thing to make yourself the Pz 35t's turret looks marginally closer to shape, sans gun. Neither of them really looks like the real article, alas.
If you wanted a proxy I'd still opt for the Pz35t because it's more exotic looking and the Pz38 is better recognised by the average gamer so with a new barrel and a coat of green paint it will suspend disbelief better.
Actually if you want a good proxy for an Irish tank I'd look at Copplestone's 1/55 Vickers Medium C. The Irish fielded a solitary Vickers D but whats a single letter between friends?
-
I think I might actually have a Vickers Medium buried in my shed of unfished projects.
And I was thinking the Pz 35t myself. Even with the treads being off, they are the closest thing out there that I could find.

3D model started. 8)
What I'll do is get it printed when complete, painted up and see how many folks are really interested.

I am but I won't be buying anything before February.

It's a little known fact that the Australian Dollar is migratory. :D
-
Alas, my trust in Australia Post holding my goods for three months isn't absolute. :)
-
I am totally interested, but I might have to wait tell after X=mess. That is unless I can get the famly to get it for me for a gift. ;)
-
Anything mastered now probably wouldn't make it till next year for production anyway. So that's not a problem ;)
If there were a small number of orders, I might be convinced to pour a mold myself and do a small run over the holidays/Jan.

Sounds good, how much are you thinking they will go for? Also I will see if any one of the guys doing the Swedish 1930s civil conflict might be interested.
-
Same as above :)

Small run resin castings usually go in the $30 per kit range. It will depend on how the masters come out (difficulty casting all resin, etc)
-
That's not to bad. Not bad at all.
