Hi there,
I'm looking for a quick way to field a selection of Dinosaurs for a 'Lost World' style game. I'm using 28mm scale figs so want something that's fairly close to this. I didn't want to have to buy and paint up stuff so was looking at the Schleich range of toy dinosaurs. Has anyone used them and how do they scale up? Too big, too small, ok in a pulpy style game? many thanks for any help.

Schleich actually are too big to fit the 28mm scale. Some of their dinos come with a plastic human figure to scale and they're more like 40mm.
However, IMO dinosaurs look even better when they are too big and the Schleich ones look so good as-bought that no painting whatsoever is needed.

I use all sorts of toy dinosaurs - mostly the cheap ones from toy shops.

Good looking table, dadlamassu!
General M@yhem, I think some of the Schleich stuff works, but it's more of a case-by-case kind of thing.

They are old Honourable Lead Boiler Suit - Struthiomimus (or similar). I think they are long OOP.
