Title: Baughast
Post by: maxxon on November 18, 2013, 08:13:35 AM
Let's see if I can make a post with embedded pictures...

Anyways, I recently figured out a use for my old Warzone figures. Having just finished Killzone 3, I decided to paint them up as sort of Helghast stand ins.

Now, I just have to figure out what to use for the ISA... and how to paint them without getting two grey armies...

Some of the best-painted Ducal Militia I've ever seen. The black-based scheme works rather well and is superbly executed.

Awesome looking miniatures. You paint black very well! Amazing work to see.

Very good.

I also like the Black colour scheme.

Thanks for the kind words.

I'm slightly surprised myself how well they turned out considering the time pressure.

Now the question remains where to get ISA and how to paint them? The color scheme in the games is very washed out, ISA being mainly light gray and really faded out green. I fear that I could easily end up with two gray armies that are hard to tell apart.

Not familiar with Killzone but that is a great paint job on those minis.

These look great.  It's hard to do black well, but you have succeeded.
