I had my first game of Mayhem recently - Crusaders versus Nomadic Orcs:-

I played it solo and have to say that I am very impressed with the rules.
You can see a full blow by blow account of the game with my thoughts on the rules and the author, Brent Spivey's explanations and corrections on my blog - http://tenmilwargames.blogspot.co.uk/2013/11/prepping-for-game-of-mayhem.html
It's over several posts as life kept on getting in the way! :?

Great write-up. Unfortunately I haven't managed to fit a game in for a couple of months, but I concur that it is an excellent set of rules. Having finished my Orcs I'm going to start building another army in the New Year and intend to play more regularly...

Great game - looking forward to seeing your MAYHEM Chaos army. :)

Thanks.
I've just invested in a new general (on a round base) and some subjugated humans for it for the battle might be delayed for a week.

Are we going to get a report? :D
Where are the flying guys from?
They're from Kallistra's 10mm fantasy range - Barbarian Birdmen with their hunky chests painted as golden breastplates
