Ok, less WIP shots and more Finished! :) I think this topic works MUCH better in the PA page, and this is the home of my other PA projects. I dont see a way to move the old thread, so I'll just include the finished portions here.
Here we go, First off, The Gully Gang, the worst scum in town....
Local authorities have 'shoot on sight' orders for these pirates.

So those are my two 'gangs' for Outrider for now. I have the Red Robber I made a few months ago for no real purpose except a future game, so i can make a third gang out of it and a very nice VW van. I think I'll set them up as if they are long distance travelers. Good opponents for either of the two I've made already.
I have a bunch of Dark Future cycles, I'm thinking about writing up some rules for them and try a little MM action... :)

Nice to see them all in one thread. As I said before looking very good. Love the Police too. Some great jobs there.
And now cos I've commented on this thread I'll get updated about it in my new replies. :D

I'm enjoying your cars; these are some of the better PA vehicles I've seen.
-
Cheers Diakon! I'll be adding more cars soon!
And a very wonderful compliment Carmen, coming from you that is a high honor indeed! :D

I was chatting with Gregg the author of Outrider and he said that he's getting all of the expansions set up so that they can be purchased as printed decks like the main game currently! He said they should be ready soon.
At 9.99 a pop, I bought 2 decks of themain game, which also came with the pdf, and that way each player can have a set of movement cards and every car is available to each player

Loving the cars, maten :)
Never heard of Outrider before though, any chance of a small write-up?

Cheers Grim, I was holding off replying until I cold find the preview again for him to look at.
Does this help Silver? Although I will be sure to write up an AAR.
Of course, for 7.99, you cant really go wrong buying the rules :) They are just SO cheap!

Finaly played a quick game this weekend, got me stoked to finish the rest of my cars, still have 16 or so hotweels lying around. ;D
-
Pretty nice game, eh? Elegant and yet a decently deep strategy.
I sent you a PM about Friday...we can also do some Blood on the Sands...
-
Great looking cars. :-* very nice.

Just 16 or so? HA! Just picked up another 8 yesterday. Man i dont even wanna see how many i have lying about. :-)
But to be fair a lot of them are for 15mm scale games and not for PA auto combat fun.

I have bags and bags of cars... I think when my nephew hits 4, I'll purge my collection and give him an early x-mas.. My cars of choice are from Jada, Greenlight, M2, and a couple of other brands that scale a bit better than MB/HW. The other thing I would suggest is to also keep them in the same general class, so a Jada Mini will be much bigger than it should be and an F350 smaller, so they look then doubly off. I tend to just not get cars from the smaller end.
I have a small collection started of 1:48 1960's sports coupes like the Porsche Speedster that I plan to gussy up for another game, Machinas, when it debuts. But then I wont get any mid/full sized cars in that set.
Hope this helps!

Another nice thing to do if you can is to get from a line that follows a scale and not just the "what fits in the blister" scale like MB and HW do. Siku for example i am pretty sure is a 1/55 scale line of vehicles. :-)

Siku has very nice stuff. the camper and jeep I posted up on the SSS thread of Silent Invader is Siku. Great scale.

Hoi All!
Had my latest game of Outrider today! The Za Zjur Gang came a courtin at Old Shoreham. Local police were on the scene to deal with the invaders. It appears from reports from the scene that the while one officer was hurt, he is in stable condition and will make a full recovery. An alert has been issued, the Old Shoreham PD expects that Gang to make another appearance soon to settle the score....
Bystanders were able to take some photos...
This BTW, is the end of the game, the police took out the first car in round 3 and the second in round 4. The dice were very much with me today, I chalk it up to a 'home court' advantage!

OSPD units respond to the gang entering the town limits, upon identifying themselves, gang members immediately opened fire and proceeded to ram one of the patrol cars, however the police cruisers are made to take hits....
-
And the Za Gang was dealt with swiftly by officers....
-
We also had a go at Blood on the Sands.... lets just say Ludus Ericus came out the better for it >:)
But you'll need to check the appropriate thread for that AAR :)

I just noticed, these are actually in reverse order...lol
