Title: How do I add flying to a Ghost? Thoughts.
Post by: Irishrover13 on 22 November 2013, 12:55:10 AM
Hello all,

I want to make a ghost and I am not sure how to give him the ability to fly? This is for my "Resurrected Regulators" league it is a unique character armed with pistols and blades.  For simplicity sake it is a corporeal ghost rather then a incorporeal one so he he can reach out and tear someone a new one or vice versa. I want him to be able zip around the battlefield or land on top of buildings/float over water/ectra, he is not that hard to dissipate for a battle but he is imortal and well he is corporeal he is a fast moving threat with pistols and blades.

Cheers,

Daniel

I think I will just give him Shadow step. I am not clear from the wording if I can have him appear on a roof above where he was as long as it is within 12 inches? Any interpretations?

A combination of Path of Shadows and Levitate may well do it, or just make the flying rules up for yourself.  I do like the popping out of a solid wall effect of the Path of Shadows though  :D

I'm not so keen on the Path of Shadows pop out of wall effect - Akhenaten really does give me the willies when he does that next to my Scotland Yard!

Interested to see how you fit that in Irishrover, my advice is to play it out and don't be afraid to change it mid game depending on how it adds to the story. It would make sense that a ghost can pass through walls much like the Path allows rather than a true flying move.
