Title: Wreck-Age Terrain Kit Concepts
Post by: ancientsociety on 02 December 2013, 09:16:52 PM: Just wanted to share some product concepts I'm working on for the Wreck-Age miniatures game. Most of these are conceptual and may not be produced but, as we work out the kinks, expect to see many of the following available for purchase, hopefully by early 2014. And this isn't all, I'm working on a couple more shanties, possibly some market stands, some additional add-on pieces, as well as a solar collector. Stay tuned!

Everything is pictured with a Wreck-Age Drifter Chieftain for scale. These also need some gap filling work.

Post by: YPU on 02 December 2013, 09:51:24 PM: For the windmill you might consider finding some commonly available material the right size for the stem and selling the base and top loose with instructions. That way its easier to make, easier to ship and buyers can determine the hight themselves. Smaller electrical pike might be an option tough I am not entirely sure those can be undercoated without special treatment. :?

Actually I think it is too big. My idea of the Staker wind generator would be a smaller almost portable set of sails rigged to a narrow pole, something which could be disassembled and hidden when necessary.

The pieces are really well done, I look forward to seeing them on sale. Wreck Age is a great concept and the sculpts are first class (if rather expensive)

Easy to get and I have painted one before without trouble BUT they are harder cut to size as they are prone to breaking.

And the paint is gonna fall of immediately. too smooth for a wise paintjob.
