Hi,
As I an new in this forum, I want to share some pictures about my previous works.
I'm a fan of anything around all that post-apocalyptic stuff - Mad Max, Walking Dead, Falling Skies - you get the point...
Mostly I am doing dioramas, prefered scales are 1:32, 1:35 and 1:24.
This Diorama is 1:32 (=54mm) and consists mostly of a stalker figure and a Revel Ford Mustang (slightly converted).

Welcome aboard. Looking forward to more of your evocative pieces.

Hey Thomas,
VERY nice...clicks "Like Button"...
Show us more!!

That's really, really nice. It has a great 'dry' feel to it, if you get my drift. A small thing, but I love the fact that his jeans actually look like dusty, faded jeans, something I have a lot of difficulty with personally.
-
Very nice, I really like the leather jacket and the hand cart.
-
That looks great! As has been said earlier, please post photos of some of your other work.

Really good that :) :) :)

Thank you all for your kind words !
Lucky, I didn't know the word evocative before, but it really fits.
I have read many books in my youth which were dealing with post-apocalyptic scenarios, especially "Lucifers Hammer" from Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle.
I often though, what would I do in such a situation.
Thank god I never ran in such a situation, but at least I know have the chance to bring my imagination to life...
I have written a long WIP-report of the diorama and a tutorial on figure painting (both in German) on the Wettringer Modellbauforum - so you will find more pictures of this diorama there.
If you want to have a look, here are the URLs:

I will post pictures of other dioramas tomorrow or the day after...
Cheers

Awesome, awesome diorama!
Looking forward to seeing more of your work.
By the way, whomever it was that decided to try to take a Mustang off-road deserved whatever sticky end they met... :D
Good work.

I like the pointed take-down of basically every other more glamorous post-apocalyptic setting. That armoured hot rod and its owner lasted a few months after the end... The longer reality is this dirty dude pushing around his hand cart full of rusty crap.

Love the whole look of the piece.
Great work, hope to see more.

Very nice diorama. :)
