A fairly busy month for my painting table.
Imperial Officer and an alien for Star Wars.
UNIT Land Rover, more Troops, K9 and aliens for Doctor Who.
Crocodile Linemen and a Goblin for Bloodbowl.
And finally, an old Ral Partha Cleric model for D&D.
How did everyone else do?
-
Looks like it was Bloodbowl month, I did a couple of figures too!
The usual mix of all sorts of eras & games. One day I might get organised ;D

WHere did you gte the Dick Dastardly figure? I am so jealous, I could scream.
Also, I don't have a good place to put pictures, and I loathe Photobucket's policies - any suggestions? I tried using my Hotmail site, but it insists that pictures go into a slideshow, and that makes it a pain to link to.

Get a (free) basic Flickr account; you can organize photos into sets, view seperately or as slideshows, people can comment on them in Flickr, and it's a far more elegant interface than Photobucket's.
Also, great pics in the first post - I started a bunch of stuff in May, but it's all still on my painting tray, mostly 90% finished now, at least.

'Dick Dastardly' is Artizans's 'Group Captain Villain' from their Thrilling Tales line. It is a neat figure, isn't it!

Quite a productive month for me
11 x 25mm
6 x 15mm
1 x 10mm (ish) aircraft.
-2 x foundry explorers
-2 x Artizan Pinkerton detectives
-6 x Foundry orc Standard Bearers
-1 x Renegade WW1 Brit
-1 x Aeronautica Imperialis Thunderbolt fighter
-6 x 15mm Peter Pig Ashigaru (makes up two bases)
(woop! 100th post :D)

No miniatures this last month :'(
Finished this on the 1st may though:

That's nice, is it scratchbuilt?
-
More crap pictures, but still working on the Jotunheim Norse project.
- front row: casualties: old glory pair (lovely) and a gripping beast early saxon with westwind head and hairextensions
- middle row: BTD berserker with OG shield, 2 Foundry vikings with Crusader shield, Foundry viking with OG shield, Gripping Beast killer with BTD head, 2 GB killers with westwind head and hair extensions, shadowforge valkyrie
- back row: 2 crusader saxons with hair and beard extensions and Foundry shields, Foundry bearman standarbearer with GW standard top.
I quite like the Gripping Beast figures, they have good character and a headswap brings them into period. Also found that the Old Glory shields have some of the best detail and thickness (and there are some real gems in their casualty packs).
And something I did as a birthday present for a friend. Supposed to reflect her interest in elephants and the mini is converted and painted to look like her:

Reaper elephant, Hasslefree girl, plastic tree from an old game, some moss.

Yes, all scratchbuilt thanks. :) There are some WIP shots here on the Workbench board and some more finished shots on the Old West board.
I've just (yesterday) finished a large adobe house to go with it, which is also featured here in an earlier post.
Thats some splendid stuff you have done there as well Auton. I love Dick Dastardly :)

Wow, some seriously good stuff this month!
Malamute, that church is looking excellent. :) I really like those two trucks of Auton's too.
My output is as follows:
Fourteen Victorian mercenaries, plus one dog...
A rather rude native...
A man in a rubber suit...
Three tents...
And a couple of stacks of crates.
So a total of 22 pieces, both terrain and figures. Not bad. I'm pleased I managed to stick to my schedule and complete the mercenary unit in the month as I had planned. Got to be a first for me! lol
-
Sir Jolly Bob KLM, a great months work, I really like the Dahomey Frenchies, very much looking forward to seeing them in the flesh. :)
-
Yeah, then you can see how they've been carefully posed to hide the splashes and missed bits. ;D
Cheers!

Those Frenchies are quite the shit, Sir Bob. I think I will send my lackeys to steal them from you. Or I'll purchase them from elsewhere, whatever's the least expensive and risky.
(You painted a little dogie!)

You know, I'm glad I read that twice. Missed the "the" first time round. Been spending too much time on Frother's I think. lol
Thank you, I'm glad you like them. I will now stay awake all night clutching a cricket bat, on the alert for fiendish foreign lead-burglars.
I kind of thought the Colonel should have a dog. A viscious attack dog to keep the native troops in line. Unfortunately, the expression he ended up with is quite the goofiest thing I've ever seen. Stupid great slobbering brute. ::)

There are 28mm standard poodles you know, They *are* French, after all.
-
I agree that the Poodle would make a great dog for a French officer, but the Colonel's German.
In my backstory for the Mercenaries, they are not actually the FFL, but a similar ragtag bunch of international cutthroats, revolutionaries and ne'er do wells hired by an eccentric aristocrat/professor type to raid the Lost Plateau of Ftang for ancient secrets, massive wealth and rare specimens.
Some of them may even survive. lol
-
Not a lot for this month but moving is mostly over so I hope to have more by the end of June.
