This week I helped my daughter building a ziggurat for history class (well, basically, I planned and built most of it and it was great to do...), and I found a childrens' adaption of Gilgamesh. I'm all into Sumerians right now.
But...
Did anybody actually ever make any miniatures representing Gilgamesh and Enkidu?

Yes. Eureka Miniatures:

(Who else?)
There's also a nice Sumerian range.

Now that's interesting. I recently went to see an exhibition at a local museum on "Uruk, First Megacity of Antiquity", and although it came across a bit as "Conan the Bureaucratarian", it did "re-pique" my interest in the period.
Those figures look quite pretty. I'd been looking for Sumerian figs after the visit but somehow Eureka slipped unter my radar.

Nice minis! Going to Warlord now? Something I hadn't heard, but probably good for business!

I got a chance to see the Ziggurat when I was in Iraq. I will post up a pick.
