Sad to hear of the death of Peter o,toole, last of the great hell raisers. He made Lawrence come to life on the screen. THE CID.

He was simply a classic.

He was simply a classic.
...and classy to boot.

A great actor, and hellraiser, who will be sorely missed - I'll raise a glass to him this evening.
-
I will raise a glass to him tomorrow night. Legend

A sad loss, I loved Peter O'Toole. Hopefully he's raising a glass of his own alongside Oliver Reed.
-
Very sad news - RIP.
-
Apparently he got kicked out trying to gatecrash my aunt's 21st birthday party way back when. They were in the same "jazz club" circle when he was working in Bristol in that period.
RIP Peter.

I always remember the classic 'Spitting Image' sketch with Peter O'Toole and Ollie Reed waking up after a heavy night.

One of the truly great actors. So sad to hear of his death.
He'll always be remembered as 'Lawrence' of course but he has also given me countles hours of pleasure with 'Lion In Winter', 'Imperium Augustus', the superb ' Murphy's War','Lord Jim' and what I consider his masterpiece, 'Night Of The Generals'
Thank you Sir!
Slainte!

Supposedly he was quite drunk when they filmed the Lawrence of Arabia scene where he raced down slope on a horse. I would have had to do the same......
Quite the chap, he will be missed. Have fun on the other side!!
