Does anyone know where I can get some good snakemen type miniatures from. I'm after ones with a snake bottom half and snake head. (Snake to half and legs would just look stupid).
Any ideas. I know the reaper bones has a few but I'm after a variety.
Thanks.
Edit: also found reapers nagendra which look pretty good, if pricey

I forgot about mierce, so are they now a reputable company with the name change? Maybe I'll look into a retailer for them. Thanks, now to have a good look through that other link.

Not really.

I haven't heard anything bad about Mierce recently, since the whole Maelstrom fiasco, and I haven't heard of anyone really disappointed by their KS campaigns either (though admittedly I have not been looking either). That being said, I ordered from Maelstrom for several years without problems before it imploded...
They are very nice figures, its just that you are supporting the owner by buying them. Personal choice. ;)

There are several in the Legend of the 5 Rings range of miniatures, in the Naga Clan. Samurai themed, but some don't have any distinctive armor.

The Qol from Tekumel?

Strange Aeons has a set of figures which would make a nice sorcerer plus acolytes:

Believe you can get the Grenadier Cthulhu ones from Mirliton these days. Reaper has some large ones that are a bit sloppy and loose in the sculpting, but some charm. I really like their especially large leader, Po Wi Set, who is a yet-to-be-introduced deity of some kind in my D&D campaign setting.

Thanks I'll have a look at those ones. :)

Those are quite nice. I've seen them before and been impressed.
Not a big fan of the tekumel ones, the arms remind me of tentacles instead of snakiness (?) but thanks :)

What about these?

Not even really expensive

Take a look on Chronopia Stygians. Some of them are snake tail type, other ones are quadripede lizards. One of my favourite lezard men range.

That's cause they are tentacles! 8)
(Not the octopus or squid sort, of course.)
-
lol well they do the job well then, just not to my taste :)
I have a chronopia snakeman actually that I just found a couple of days ago. Thanks. I think I may go for some reaper ones.

For myself, i mix a bone figure like that one :

with a celtic torso from plastic Warlord Games :

the head is a Mantic plastic ghoul !
Now it's up to you to find the good torso and heads for your conversion work ! ;)

I don't think snakemen with legs look stupid.
Actually this is my favorite of all the snakemen i've ever seen.
Shame you can't buy them and there was only one pose in the game.

That's quite cool maxxev! I probably do what nervousfr has said and mix it with some reaper bones. Who made that snakeman?
-
I recently bought the sphere wars snakeman, which is quite nice. He is unarmed but you could pop a weapon in his hand easily enough. Generally was nice sculpt and casting except I found that the shoulder joint needed a bit of work to get a good fit tho.

I can see how peeps say Snakemen with legs dont look right. I can see it as i think i may be one of them. I think i like my snakemen legless.

The figure was from the dark world village of fear boardgame and is OOP and quite rare, they turn up on ebay, but they are usually oretty expensive and they are not the best casts with a lot of blank undercuts, tough plastic and fudgy detail, still the snakeman design I like the best though.
