Did you use a varnish / dip on these?

Sorta, part of my wash mix...water, ink and future floor wax....the future floor helps the ink drop ink spots and also seals the paint but also allows me to paint over it afterwards for touch ups...

Good work.

Excellent results. Floor acrylic does the trick every time.

Will you use them with a game?

Yes. I am a regular Bolt Action player....who knows, maybe I will dabble in other systems in the future.

I am really enjoying them, a bit hard to collect everything I need but I like a challenge. The painting has been more rewarding than the Germans....I think it is the character that the models capture.

I am slipping some Belgians in later, like an ATR team...but the ones above are all French either Crusader or Black Tree design, some actually have carbines which is what you may see different, plus not all the French has the MAS 1936 rifle that was common, could be even sculpting techniques by the two companies. I do plan to add some Bolt Action (Warlord) figs next...
