Hey folks following the development of the 49 different Cthulhu creatures, Allied Investigators and Nazi Villains for our Kickstarter, Spartan Games (who make Dystopian Legions, Dystopian Wars, Firestorm Armada and Uncharted Seas) are going to launch the official Skirmish Game line for Achtung! Cthulhu.
Here's some info but you can read more here: http://www.modiphius.com/4/post/2013/12/spartan-summons-the-power-of-achtung-cthulhu.html (http://www.modiphius.com/4/post/2013/12/spartan-summons-the-power-of-achtung-cthulhu.html)
From Spring 2014 we are launching a full Achtung! Cthulhu Skirmish game with Spartan Games. The Achtung! Cthulhu Skirmish Game will utilise the fast-paced, action-packed rules used in Spartan’s Dystopian Legions game, and plans for the range include starter sets, faction sets, hero sets, large creature sets and experimental vehicles, as well as a full-colour stand alone rulebook. Check out the full press release here
The first range of 49 miniatures, sculpted by Russ Charles, will be extended to include more Mythos creatures, Nazi Villains, Allied Heroes and strange experimental vehicles. Spartan plan to utilise their hugely popular laser-cut scenery line to add some stunning battlefield scenic accessories so that players can bring to life some of the stranger aspects of the Achtung! Cthulhu world, whilst Spartan’s high quality resins will allow some truly larger-than-life Cthulhu creatures and war machines to dominate the battlefield.

Really looking forward to seeing more of these. Great looking minis

Noticed this in back of Players Guide (lovely books, by the way, and excellent source material). Had Dystopian Legions, so know the ruler system (which I like), but worried that Spartan will go the 'Ultra Heroic' scale with their figures - Legion figures were closer to 32mm than 30mm, so would fit poorly with most current ranges (monsters would be fine though, not really scale specific).
Glad to see that 'Showdown' will still make an appearance too.
Would also allow me to game 'Strange Aeons' in this set up. Time to go looking for suitable WWII miniatures.

@Keeper Kilbog - the plan is to retain the same scale as the Kickstarter minis as most people who have WW2 wargames figs, vehicles and scenery have them in 28mm scale.

the plan is to retain the same scale as ... 28mm
Good news on that one.

Sounds interesting. Should be some nice models in there for other Pulp/Horror games, and Weird War, as well...
-
I was going to ask the same thing. I never got into the Dystopian Legions was because they were out of scale with just about ever thing else I have. hope that they are in the 28 scale range.

I really like the Artizan figs and they worked really well with the Pulp Figures and other Cthulhu minis I had
