I recently took some photos of my 15mm Robin Hood figures by Splintered Light Miniatures. Although not up to the wonderful standard as the larger versions that have previously graced the forum, I thought I'd share them here anyway.

I am sure most of those interested in Robin Hood probably know that Osprey are releasing the title ‘Robin Hood’ as part of their Myths and Legends series. It is book 7 in the series and the text is by Neil Smith and the artwork by Peter Dennis.

I somehow managed to pick up a copy of it last weekend. Quite a feat considering where I live.
May everyone have a safe and happy festive season.
All the best,

For 15mm, those are excellent Barry.

:-* They look great. Small question..I know they are 15mm but how do they compare alongside the old Robinhood set from airfix?

Very nice painting 8)
Will check out the publication when i can get my hands on it and starting a similiar theme in 28mm at skirmish level to be set in the 12th Century...also thinking of having a go at a small Anglo-Danish warband to represent Hereward and a few rebels to have a bash at my Norman/Anglo-Norman force :)

Thank you all for the kind words :)
I am currently working on some 15mm characters based on the 'Robin of Sherwood' cast which I hope to get back to soon once the festivities have slowed down around here...

Paul here is a comparison photo of the SLM alongside the Airfix miniatures.

Anglo-Danes are next on my Saga list and a conversion for Hereward is on the cards. Again, these will be in 15mm.
Thanks once again,
Barry

Like the idea of Medieval period skirmish games in 15mm and looking forward to seeing what you develop :)
Have been looking at the packs of unpainted Peter Pig late Medievals i bought a year or so back with ideas of Wars of the Roses games but now thinking of using some of them for late 100 YWR or maybe early Italian Wars and turning them into warbands to skirmish and raid with. :)

Thanks Barry :) I´ve heard from one or two People that they might fit alongside the airfix figs. From your pics obviously not. The pic makes me appreciate more your skill in painting them.
