I have had a bit of a painting frenzy lately, been enjoying clearing off the work desk. One of the new projects I am working on is a Mexican village for a Magnificent Several scenario later next year.
So here we have the poor put upon inhabitants of "Nueva Tranquilidad" ( spelling corrected!)

And the women folk and "sleepy" Sanchez.

All Wargames Foundry.
So far I have the church , and one adobe building sorted, plenty more to crack on with.

Excelente! Compagnero :-*

Deedles, more great stuff! Loving the ponchos on the peasents, plus the buildings and rocks look nice too.
-
Everything is looking Magnifico, Senor.

Indeed it is

Amazing stuff Senor Deedles (pronounced "Deed-lays").
lol

Nice choice of minis and a SPLENDID paint job.
You are very talented and I'm green with envy.
As a side note, you may want to check the town name, and change it to "Nueva Tranquilidad" as that makes a lot more sense.
Thanks for sharing.

Maybe the "Neuva" version was settled by some crafty Germans... lol "Velcum to Noy-veh Tranch-ill-eh-ded".

Deedles,
Another stunning mini, and another superb poncho.
-
Fantastic painting.
I don't think I will be posting any pics of my minis as my painting falls far below the standard exhibited on this site.

Wow! Outstanding paintjob Deedles
-
Excellent! Love this figure, I've done it a few times.
Great poncho, I'm nicking that colour scheme and pattern :D
-
Gorgeous work on the poncho-laden fiend. As much as I adore the Foundry etc. concept of two matching minis...I think I'd go mad trying to paint two miniatures identically! lol
-
'Deedless' to say, that's one AWESOME paint job. :-*

twice the poncho fun!
Confused... Is he called "Loco" or is the town called "Loco"? Or is it still too early in the morning here?
Edit: Forgot the most important part, "Damn, I really like that figure!"
Gracias,
Glenn
Edit: Punctuation saves lives... and, in the morning, my brain.
