Hello,
now time has come when you can get your hands on the prof mini!
It is available in my shop miniaturicum yet!
http://www.miniaturicum.de/ (http://www.miniaturicum.de/)
As the shop is setup in german language it might be not easy for those of you who do not know german at all. In future I will try to setup the shop system in a way that it is possible to switch between english and german. But this will take again some time and we do not want to wait longer with selling the mini.
To leave you not completly alone, below some rough instructions, but you may regocnize some screen as many other shops are useing the some software.
Of course you can also sent me a PM if you do not want to order via the shop.
So here some short instructions:
Do order you have to create an account, This can be done if you click at "Dein Konto" (your account) Or if you press "Kasse" (Checkout).
Here you get to a screen where you have to enter your adress.
Than you press the "weiter" button (continue).
Than you see a page where you just be informed about the shipping cost, again press "weiter"(continue).
Next screen you may choose how to pay. For all which are not from Europe paypal will be the option of choise. Europeans may also choose "Vorkasse" what means by banc transfer.
Press again "Weiter" (continue) and on the next page you get an overview of your order and here you have to confirm the order by pressing "Bestellen".
Hope that works for you.
If you have any problems, please let me know.
Michael

Life should be simpler.
I'm in UK.
How much is the figure including shipping to me?
Do you accept PayPal?
-
Shipping to UK as to most european countries is 3,20 Euro
So figure (3,45 euro) plus shipping to you would be 6,65 Euro.
Yes paypal is accepted
-
thanks Michael for making it possible to sell that miniature, I wouldn't be able to make it by myself.
By the way, we will use all the money we would get from selling of Prof to finance the next special LAF fig ;)
And lads, we do apologize for not having an english shop, no worries, it will come, at the moment just send a PM to Michael if you don't manage it with the german shop. We hope for your understanding :)
-
Have you done any decisions about the next LAF miniature? Will it be Helen?

I did but I won't reveal that, it's already in work :D
-
Wow,
Nice figure. Have PM'ed Michael and hopefully will be able to get one.

Thanks - what a bargain :) I've ordered through the shop following your instructions. Still a wild and mysterious ride as I don't read German, but also a thrilling challenge which I accepted as an Adventurer would :)
(In reality, fellow English only people, it wasn't that difficult.)

A done deed, thanks to Michael's personal attention.
Thanks very much, looking forward to the figure.

Reminds me when a college accidentally changed the language of the espresso machine to japanese ('I didn't do anything, honest!' and we had to undo it with the now completely useless menu. lol

Ordered two...

I was quite excited when I saw the words "Auf Lager" next to the pic of the Prof,
http://www.miniaturicum.de/product_info.php?products_id=5280
but was slightly saddened to see that it actually means "in stock" rather than "with free can of lager" [the British name for "bier"] as I was hoping :(
Never mind, I ordered two figures to make up for the disappointment, but being a complete buffoon, could not work out how to do it in Deutsch, so had to PM Michael lol
Where's the "embarrassed" emoticon gone, BTW, as it's one I need to use regularly.....
-
If some one have problems to order the figure ,because the shop is in german, so I think Lurch can help you (oder myself) just send a PM .
Lurch is a nice guy so don´t be shy.

I managed it through the shop eventually. Good old Google Translation toolbar! :D
Michael did send a very helpful e-mail, so I'm sure any other non-German speakers will be able to buy the figure from him with no problems.
BTW, I also got two. One will be used as it is for pulp etc and the other will get a hand swap for one holding a revolver, for use in VSF etc acventures. The hand holding the Mauser will be added to the Wild West figure the revolver will be removed from, for use in "Firefly" games. I suppose I could use the Mauser for very late 19thC games, though.
I think the "broom-handled" C96 Mauser is my favourite ever small-arm :)
-
Tried to order it but Paypay doesn't like my address. It looks ok to me in the screen, but I get an error when I check out. Will PM and see what we can do.
-
Well, here's to mixing up "Vorname" and "Nachname". :)
-
Cheers to Michael for being so quick to assist!
(You must have quite a bit of work helping out our Germanically-challenged Lead Adventurers right now...)

That's a very good idea! I'll be "co-opting" that... ;)

consider yourself on my good trader list :-*
Edit,
The prof figure is great IRL, some serious thinking will have to go into planning this paintjob :)

Also a couple packs of Copplestone mini's, too.
Thanks Michael for the great service.
-
Mine arrived safe and well too. Nice figures (I bought 2 :D )
Great service 8)
-
That's some site, nearly every Pulp figure you might want is there.
-
This is a very nice site, may make an order for Conquest Miniatures here instead of ordering from the US
cheers
-
Ordered myself one on sunday... looking forward to getting it (along with other stuff!) :D
-
It arrived today.... Great service (even if I can't read/write/speak German!) :)
-
The site was a little confusing, but at that price I just had to get this special figure. He's going to look great on my Cthulhu games >:D
-
Got him today. Great looking model (and fast delivery!).
-
I fought my way to the checkout using Yahoo Babel Fish, but thanks for the advice from the native German speakers.
-
Figure arrived today - excellent. Does anyone else think he looks a bit like Richard Branson? No? Ok.

I hope he's not a mini-Branson.
With his track record in "adventurous pursuits" [ie crashed balloons, sinking boats etc] I wouldn't give much for the Prof's chances of surviving a really dangerous adventure lol
-
And if my mind hasn't lied to me again, I believe the Professor's still on an adventure. So shush-shush, you :o.
-
Des schaut guad aus!
-
Pardon, but did the good professor ever make it to an English language site?
Doug
Edit: Nevermind, it just came up as an English site. GM is not the only one that needs a 'blush' emoticon...
-
Was the next figure ever done?
-
Was the next figure ever done?
not yet.

I had to update the shipping cost , because the german postal service changed their rates.
Shipping within Europe now 3,20 Euro if you order the Prof. miniature only.
-
Is it really $15.00 to ship this one mini to the USA?
-
Alright, tried to order and ship to my buddy in Muenchen who just called and informed me he is visiting in two weeks (it's been five years!!!)
Paypal will not allow me to do have a USA account and ship from Germany to Germany for some reason.
Do you have another method or idea? As he arrives in two weeks there is no time to send a cheque by mail.
-
Michael (Miniaturicum) is on vacation till Sunday.
-
Thanks, Professor.
I got in touch with him and all is sorted (Alles in Ordenung, or as we said in Oesterreich, "Ois Kloapt!").
-
This is a great mini. It arrived the other day. I'm very happy. Thanks a million, Herr Funk!
But what about lead-adventure mini #2?
How about a woman, looks somehow like Kristin Scott Thomas in English Patient? With blowing scarf, sun hat, and carrying a compass, and perhaps an SMG slung?
And for #3 how about a big dog? Perhaps with a bone in its mouth that looks like it should be some treasure instead of a doggy snack?
-
Got mine, very nice indeed. Aye he does look a little like Branson, but he looks more like my mate Steve which is why I bought one.
Thanks!

Aha! Just finished painting this...
