Title: INFINITY - my Shasvastii Army
Post by: sasori on 07 January 2014, 06:02:10 AM
I don't post a lot but well I've been working' on it for a while and last month I decided I wanted to get it done before the new year so as of the evening of the 30th I finished it. Here it is my Shasvastii army.

Well there it is, I haven't decided how I want to trick out the bases yet. It was a speed paintin' method that involved a base color, a wash, and 1, very seldom 2, highlights. All skin started with the same color paint and changed a little as I washed with slightly different colors. What doesn't seem to come across in the pictures is I played around with matt and gloss sealers on some of the minis. Its a little noticeable in the Sphinx picture.

Now to get them on the field, I haven't used them since I started painting them.  :D

They look very good, especially so as you say you speed painted them - nice work!

That is a lot of Shavasti.

I'm guessing you can make any list you like form the sectorial with full availability for each troop type. I'm impressed.

I'm not so fond of some of your colour choices but as a speed painted army they look good en mass.

Very nice, indeed. Esp for 'speed painting'.

Bravo!

I like your pallet / colors.

Great example of keeping it simple--for maximal appeal.

Thanks for the peep.

Not a fan of aliens in the setting in general, nevertheless I do enjoy any Infinity model making an appearance here. Added to that, yours are kewl. 8)

Wow great paint job. I really like that the skin colors are different, but colors compliment within the group. I do like all of the colors that you used making each unit individual. I am looking forward to seeing the miniatures based bringing the group together.
