Title: High Elf Sea Guard
Post by: killshot on 13 January 2014, 04:33:17 PM: Finished these up the other day. I'm using LotR BSG rules, that's why they're based on round bases. More pictures of smaller groups scattered through out mt blog if you're interested in seeing more.

The lads look great. I really like the sea-shell horn, and the dragons on the shields really pop.

I remember painting some of these up myself from the island of blood starter and have to admit they are great models.

Did you fit the models fully before painting or did you paint the parts individually? i made them before hand and have to admit I regret not painting on the sprue with most of the starter set models...

Matthais-Mouse: I completely built the models before I painted them. I bought them from a bits seller on eBay so they were already clipped from the sprue.

My next planned unit of High Elves will be 10 of the Shadow Warriors.
