For those who don't get the North Star Newsletter, it just arrived in my inbox and has a very shiny object near the bottom. It says it's a Newsletter exclusive pic so I'm not going to post the picture yet but here is a link to the newsletter online.

Steady on old boy, there is no need for such reckless reactions! :D

I'm now wondering if I need to build a construction site board....
-
Is is going to be resin or cast iron?
-
Perfect for removing those pesky Selenite Queens from the cargo hold.

Get away from her you blaggard!

There's a game there...
-
I really need a cultist driver for that!! :D
-
That's a lovely walker, it'll go on the wish list for sure. I'm impressed with how true it is to the artwork as well.
-
There's a game there...
A tramp steamer carrying a special operations team is sent deep into the southern oceans to an uncharted island. When they land there is a lost mining colony, but it is empty except for a little girl called 'Newt'.
The patrons insist that the team explore the caverns under the volcano and find the leader of the colony...
-
where would the marines come from, as they're colonial?
-
The USMC of course :)
-
Sounds like the kind of deniable operation you need an Aussie merc company for to me :)

You may think that but I could not possibly comment... :D

'Sounds like a right bug hunt to me, eh chaps?'

Alright Gentlemen. Let us maintain a constant state of frozen precipitate!
-
All right, sweethearts, what are you waiting for? Breakfast in bed? Another glorious day in the Corps! A day in the Marine Corps is like a day on the farm. Every meal's a banquet! Every paycheck a fortune! Every formation a parade! I LOVE the Corps!
-
'Het Vazquez! Do you ever get mistaken for a man?'
'Er, yes. That's why I have this bloomin' massive moustache...'
-
Great thread-title.
I like a walker sporting 'cup-holders'.
I must track down the rules to this game, quite interesting.

Always happy to help:

Thanks, that's just what the Doctor ordered.

Here you go Senjak: Walker with tea service:
-
Ahhh, First Rate Service!
When on campaign or when on verandah, tea is might-tea fine.
Bravo!
-
But where does he keep the biscuits?
-
At home we would reply to questions concerning the whereabouts of biscuits, as: "Down in the cellar in a teacup."
This fellah probably has them in his waistcoat pocket. :)
Still that is a very fine model we've been seen from the previous. :P
-
skrapwelder: That is genius! Could you please share the source?
-
Thanks,
The walker is a Reaper miniatures robot, the driver is a West Wind Hansom passenger and the tea set was made from green stuff and beads.
Originally he was made for a VSF Battle of Agincort and represented Montjoy, the French Herald.
-
Where can we find out more about this VSF version of the battle of Agincourt? Sounds like an interesting scenario.
-
It was a convention game I hosted in 2011. Here you go:

you've got img tags wrapped around your url - so it's not appearing
-
Silly me
-
Wow! :o
What a phenomenal effort there! Well done those chaps :D
-
The aginclank game was even more impressive in person.
-
Skrapwelder, a french herald drinking tea ?
i know that it's an alternative world , but that's an offense ! >:(
-
Tsk - falling into the trap of steampunk tropes of the French being some kind of enemy to be reviled for no apparent reason...
-
But where does he keep the biscuits?
A properly appointed 'Walker' features a small but efficient fourneau, producing biscuits and small cakes as campaign rations.
-
any idea of a release date of the walker ?
-
Unless Dewbakuk or Nick Northstar wish to interject all I can say is soon :D
-
I must admit I'm waiting with baited breath too...
Does anyone know of any other companies that produce Victorian Walkers ? I would love a few of such automations.
regards
Wolt

Empire of the Dead and Dystopian Wars, though the latter is in 32mm scale.
-
I've got some parts left of an orc or goblin walker that could easily be steampunk. it's not GW but I can't remember who made it. I'll try finding online.

Must say I don't get here near oft enough.
Get away from her you blaggard!
Oh, my, sounds like he's smitten. Poor choice in paramours, I must say! :o
[Knew what you meant, but could I resist an opportunity?]
The USMC of course :)
Tsk, tsk; assigned to the COLONIAL office, of course. Marines, prop'a British ones, don't you know! Well, at least the officers...
Bit concerned about that driver fellow...
