Title: Lone Survivor
Post by: flags_of_war on 19 January 2014, 01:06:00 AM
I watched Lone Survivor this evening and have to say it was a decent watch. It give great ideas for modern scenarios and it also has some good firefights in it.

At first i thought it was a made up movie story until it got to the end and it had a dedication to all involved in Operation Red Wings. The dedication was quite emotional as well.

I read the book. Personally I think the Markie Mark as an actor is overrated but the trailer looked ok. It must have been an traumatising experience losing all your buddies in a firefight and then spending the next days evading the neemy and hiding with strangers, never knowing if you'll end up dead at the end.
