Okay, most on LAF are 25+ mm gamers but is anyone a 15 mm FRPG player or GM and what figures do you have that you that would inspire others to consider playing in that size figures? Pictures would be ideal but wordsmith a description if you don't have pictures to post please?
I have not at this time but once I get better at painting 15 mm VSF I am thinking a "party" (even if I never go back to FRPG) would be a personal challenge to create for the table top.
Gracias,
Glenn

Why should you do 15mm figs for RPGs? Because it's cheaper. Because it's easier to paint than 28mm. Because there's a TON of great miniature companies making stuff for it. Because those tiny little figs are just so cool. It also lets oyu use 28mm things as big monsters (orcs make good ogres, goblins make good trolls, small and medium dragons become HUGE dragons etc). Demon World are my favorite figs, but Splintered Light makes packs meant for RPGs including encounter packs and adventurer party packs
Copplestone is great, but my personal favorite is Demonworld made by Ral Partha. Lots and lots of figures very much inspired by Warhammer Fantasy aesthetic (and totally NOT IP-infringing in any way ;) )

Splintered Light miniatures also makes a very good line of 15mm fantasy figures

and Rebel Minis took over Mighty Armies a few years ago, also good figs.

15mm.co.uk makes the Hordes of Things fantasy line

I'm just about to make the 15mm plunge in fantasy myself. I'm doing it for purely nostalgic reasons though as I'm buying a range of minis that were my first ever at 8years old. Tin soldier uk, they are more 10mm I height and quite cartoony but I like them.

I have a good amount cheap 15mm demonworld minis if anyone is interested ;)

What do you have?

Okay, my fault for not specifying that postage from outside the USA is a factor but I will certainly look at the postage in detail for Ral Partha Europe.
Edit: Oh my, flat rate postage? I must read more... That might change my plans...
I actually have some Splintered light figures (mice) and I will take a closer look at Rebel Miniatures too.
Copplestone makes good figures but I am looking mostly at Dwarf/Elf/Gnome/Goblin-Orc/halfling (maybe to the last) and not humans.
Gracias

Dont Forget the Terrain! In 15mm you dont just have a couple of houses to represent a village. You can have whole villages, dungeons, or castles on the table.

I recommend the larger 15's such as Eureka miniatures 18mm Fantasy (great elves!), Copplestone barbarica, Magister Militums "Blood Dawn" 15mm Fantasy (best dwarves), Splintered Light (unfortunatly the horses are quite small), and of course Demonworld.

Conquistador: You have been posting a lot about 15mm figures lately on various boards.
Have you decided which of the suggested ranges to buy yet?

I've just made the jump to 15s in both sci-fi and fantasy and to be honest I'm hooked. I can only agrre with Rhelyk and Steam Flunky
All my fantasy minis are Demonworld, and they are very nice indeed - sharp crisp details and castings. A good friend has some Blooddawn minis are they're pretty nice too.
If Khurasans fantasy stuff is anything like their sci-fi they'll be top quality too. Rebel minis sci-fi is average quality castings IMO, so I'd guess their fantasy was the same. Splintered Light seems to have a good selection for classic D&D type games.
Hope that helps
