Here is a Dragon i painted up for my Mum. It wasn't a subtle dig, she asked me to paint one up for her.

Wonderful!
The base is lovely as well.
Classic scene like this. :)
Which miniatures did you use?

:o
Stunning!
I guess that she is well chuffed when you hand that over.
Great colours choices and wonderful painting.

It reminds me of the old dragon sets that Citadel produced in the late eighties, only more dynamic.

Absolutely Brilliant diorama!
I myself have that dragon in a near finished state of painting (using it for my 15mm!) and it is a wonderful piece!
For those wondering what the mini is: its a Reaper figure under the title of Narthalyssk

Fantastic all over. :) The dragon's a Sandra Garrity, isn't it?

Thanks for the kind words. The knight is from Thunderbolt Mountain and i'm not sure the make of the dragon, got it 2nd hand from ebay.

BEAUTIFUL! No wonder you're your Mom's favorite. The minis, composition, brushwork, & basing are SUPERB. VERY WELL DONE!

Gorgeous, and definitely a case of less is more. This has a beautiful simple 1980's feel to it. Not the wildly over done "desperate to win a medal" kind of crap you see at a lot of painting competition. Just a beautifully done, simple diorama. Top notch work there boss.
