Really nice models indeed.

Long ago I found these pics for "Hoverwars", supposedly a LEGO Sci-Fi wargame akin to G.E.V. by Steve Jackson Games:

There's actually quite a number of rulesets for LEGO wargaming, including one for dungeon crawling.

I built a huge fleet of pirate ships, multiple islands etc. for a big pirate game but never got around to play it, I could never decide on a ruleset for my grandiose plans but all models still exists after all these years, in my parents attic:

Mobile frame zero is apparently really good, i'd recommend looking it up.
