Hi folks
This is my first post here having spent most of the afternoon reading my way through early posts that interested me. I have been addicted to post Roman Britain for many years and always wanted to game it.. My thinking is coloured by the route I took through rulesets ie "Dark Age Infantry Slog", "Glutter of Ravens" and now "Dux Bellorum". My aim was massed troops and shield walls.. My circumstances forced me into using small tables over the last 20 years and most of my gaming has been done in 6mm scale. For RB however I wanted more individual figures and a tad more variation . Converting has never been a problem for me and I loved the Kallistra Romano-brits so I went for 10/12mm. The end project would be 5 or 6 armies for the dux rules and then decide where I go from there. I also decided that for this project I would start a blog to detail my progress and reasoning. It had to be a blog because my now ancient website was beginning to creak and die. Anyway To cut a long story short . I'm a long way down the line now and want to share my experience so let me link you to the first entry on my blog.

It's not just a collection of photos but an explanation of the various options i decided on and maybe someone else can take i9nformation away from my efforts.
Meanwhile here's a couple of photo's for those without time to follow the link..

Very nice.
I'm doing the same period in 15mm. My scale decision was made by the early acquisition of some painted stuff and I went from there. I really love the look of 10mm though, same scale I have done all of my Fantasy stuff in.
