Title: Current sources for Asia/Africa/plus wild animals (25+ mm for this thread.)
Post by: Conquistador on January 28, 2014, 02:46:22 AM
Specifically I am looking at getting Gorillas, Orangutans, Chimpanzees, Monkeys/Lemurs, female Lions (have two males and two females already need more females and cubs,) Tigers, (no bears, have them,) Wild Boars, Crocodiles, Hippopotami, Rhinos, Vultures, Eagles, Hyenas, Wild Dogs, and/or  Elephants for a project.

1) I know about Irregular, just left their pages.  Court of last resort.  I know I always seem to disparage them but it is not intentional... I just hope for better...

2) I saw the Ral Partha Europe page but I would prefer USA to avoid the joys of shipping... I know it cuts both ways...  Nice but I am still missing a few creatures above if I use them exclusively.

3) Iron wind metals options very limited.

4) Other sources?

Gracias,

Glenn

Thank you for the Crocodile games direct links - so much to go through manually!

Alas so much (understandable since he is closing up) is out of stock at Obelisk...

Gracias,

Glenn

Northstar has some of what you are looking for.

Some good stuff here:  http://www.northstarfigures.com/list.php?man=42&page=1

Awesome search engine:  http://www.northstarfigures.com/search.php?query=animal&page=1

I love when I see what work someone has put into their website (as an old programmer/Database analyst I understand this was no light decision)!

Perhaps your local dollar or toy store will yield some suitable creatures? :)

I'm fairly sure they are the same miniatures.
