Best of luck with your game remember to keep your .45 loaded at all times ;)

The weather was poor last night and no one else made it out. On the plus side I did get to meet the owner of Imaginary Wars, really nice guy and had a good gaming chat.
I will still try to post so pics of my threshold group but I have no idea how to post the pics on here.

Enjoy your first game, I too am planning to play my first proper full scale game this weekend, had the rule book and minis for just over a month but I have become such a gaming snob lately that I don't like playing with un painted models but I have finally got to a point where I have enough stuff painted up for a full game :D

Good man!
We like a snob who paints his stuff.

Even more so when he takes a few piccies of it in action.

I got my first game in last night at Strange Adventures, Uncle Mike "played" the part of the Cultists against my Threshold Team (who had completely covered themselves in Grey Primer as camouflage). He used this amazingly painted stage and rule for summoning the The King in Yellow. Despite my leader cutting down three cultist his cult leader and a secondary character were able to complete the play the cult leader himself taking on the role of the King. And though he whispered terrible things and may of touched my female agent in ways best not mentioned my leader was able to strike him down with his saber (The saber is a excellent weapon) before he hurt anyone or drove them insane.
It was a great game and despite my terrible shooting skills, I was able beat Mike's Traumatic Thespians by the skin of teeth.
Thanks again Uncle Mike for the game.
Cheers,
Daniel

Sounds like good fun.
King in Yellow! ;D Glad to hear U.M. didn't hold back!

Great game last night Daniel! Don't worry Peabody I never hold back...when you roll dice like me why bother! lol And, true to form I summoned the King who failed to do anything but wander around whispering before being mercilessly dispatched to wherever he came from. Special credit to Lidlesseye for entering his King In Yellow in the painting circle, which reminded me to use mine in a game. Still some of my favorite rules for SA.
All that acting and so little payoff...kinda like HBO... o_o

Heh... love it.
You should feature King in Yellow next time you come to Vancouver. o_o

Uncle Mike in our game I seemed to have made a grave error during our game. My leader was wearing light armour and at few times he ran 5 inches, if I am not mistaken he was not allowed to do that. Not sure if that had an adverse affect on the game but I am willing to consider it a tie.

I wouldn't worry about it! I make mistakes all the time! My secret is never admitting them! ;)
