Good morning
In this thread I will post Pictures of my new wargaming table which I will start to build this coming weekend.
It will be build especially for my TSS tiles scenery.
The tabletop will accommodate 7x4 TSS tiles ( the ones that measure roughly 30x30 cm)
Under the tabletop will be space for my scenery tiles buildings woods etc when not in use .
So watch this space for pictures later at the weekend.

Excellent Tom. Every chap needs a dedicated wargames table sooner or later :)
-
Totally Agree Captain - and a place to put it up ! ;)
-
Agreed, my building is now pretty much done and I've built the first of the two tables. I'll document the other one as I build it.

Such a tease to start this without even one picture...

I am green with envy, I have managed to have a small coffee table dedicated for wargaming, that is to say it is my painting table ;D

Here are the first Pictures.
The first two pictures show the bottom of the first container the tabletop will rest on. The container is 100x100 cm square and 85 cm high. I will build a second identical one to bring the table to the right dimensions.

Pretty good Tom. I do quite like the old TSS tile system.
I'm sure you'll have many happy hours wargaming on there - well done :)
-
I'm very jealous. I'd love to have the space for a permanent set up.
Thanks for sharing.
-
That is a nice looking table. I like the built in storage for your terrain.
-
Fantastic :-*! I wish I had space for something like this. To be honest, I thought I'd fallen through a warp hole and landed on the New Yankee Workshop forums! lol
-
Beautiful table!
Now, rebuild it - out of walnut and rare woods ... lol
-
Thanks to all of you will send pictures when an actual game is played and when the doors are fitted

Looks grand ;D
-
Yes, that is a very neat set-up Tom. Enjoy! :)
-
Green with envy here. I have neither the space for it or the skills to build it ... ah well something for the future! I do love the storage space under it. Brilliant and obvious ... but I had never thought of it!

Those doors dont look like they need handles.
Grimm
-
The doors are being held closed by magnets so a handle is better to open them already broke a few fingernails opening them without handles :'(
We had a few SAGA games and a Bolt Action game on the table works really good
-
Good result 8)
cheers
