Well done, Dags, what Green did you use?

Cheers, guys 8)
The Green is Vallejo Olive Green, highlighted up with Italian Tankcrew Highlight (from the Panzer Aces range)

The Green is Vallejo Olive Green
Yes, now I see it. Great mix with Italian Tankcrew Highlight, looks very "technical".

Love that :-* :-* :-*
Any WIP pictures to see what it is made from.

Blimey that's special, I recognise the Ainsty buggies in there, is the rest all plasticard? How the hell did you do this?
Nice rubber skirt! 8)
Dags likes a bit of rubber...

None, I'm afraid, Andy... but the top half is a buggy, the bottom is a 15mm Slammers' blower tank, the fans are 2 of the air-conditioning units and there are bits of the diagnostic couch underneath the fans. Plus a few assorted bits of placcy card.
The mini is; legs and left hand from the Ainsty buggy driver, body from a CD TLS trooper and the head from one of the CD sprues.... hope that helps!
-
Thanks
I now recognise some of the bits
-
Love it.

This is really nice. Why don't you make another and get Ainsty to cast it so we can have one?
-
Sweet work, especially the tonal harmonies between the green areas and the warning fields.
I sure hope that driver has adequate ear protection or the OSHA/HSSE crowd will have your posterior for dinner!

If there's enough interest we will do - major parts are stock so it's only really the fans that would need casting ;)
-
Really nice!
-
Quite nice!
-
That's brilliant! :-*
-
Nice work ... but where are the twin linked machine guns and homing rockets??!
-
That's a great conversion and awesome PJ. The rubber is very convincing. The hazard stripes must have been a pain to paint. Good job.
-
Brill! Loving the OSL on the controls! :o What you planning using it for? Any special game?
-
Oh.. This is sweet!

Version 2....

The fan unit will be going into rubber in the next few days so, fingers' crossed, in production in a week or so.
Price is going to be around £15 including either an astro or regular buggy driver. Drop Andy @ Ainsty a line if you want to jump the queue ;)
