I have received most of my KS minis, as expected I like Mishima the most, consequently the 1st mini painted is a Hatamoto.

I will use it as a ViDe Future Combat "Hardshell Power Armour Combat Suit Commander"
Options: High Tech Combat Blade and Kinetic Pulse Carbine
The rest of the squad is now black primed and ready to go. A WIP shot still unprimed is below. I could not resist and made a head change (from the Samurai unit) and attached the old Dragonfire HMG.

Magnificient painting, retro in scheme but up-to-date in execution! :o
Strangely enough, compared to the huuuge heads the old Hatamoto figures had, this one is tiny, but I gather the figure is a kind of exo-suit or big powered armour, so it actually makes sense.

Lovely as always Agis!! :o :o
He reminds me of the Sentinels from Xmen!

Nice 8)
Are they plastic and if so is there much conversion and posing potential?
cheers

He reminds me of a SciFi kinda Thrud the Barbarian ;)
But the painting is very nice!

That was the plan! ;)

True, on some minis the heads are a bit too small. They may have overdone it with the whole "lets be anatomical correct, no more GW style minis"!

It is NOT plastic, it is a strange half elastic resin mix.
So far it is easy to work with, hot water and all bendy parts are good - and is not bending back!
The Hatamotos come with 2 different bodies, 2 different heads and the arms. The sword arms have two poses!
Not much conversion and posing potential on these, but many other minis from the range have it.

I really like those figures, and your paint work is top notch! Well done!

Nice work. I think I'd prefer the minis if the shoulder pads were one piece though...maybe even with slightly curled upper corners. :D

These are uber amazing! Nice color choice too
