A recent issue of Military Vehicles Magazine, here in the UK recently profiled the M1126 Stryker ICV, and gave away a 1/72 die cast model of it. Whilst being nice and shiny, and more importantly, the right scale :)
it just didn't look right, so I gave it a repaint, and dirtied it up somewhat, to go from this:

The tires doesn't look right too me.
Don't understand why.
-
Probably because they were crappy vinyl ones on the model.
-
This is a fine paint job.
Maybe the "splash" on the tires are a bit too big ?
Don't know.

For me it's just good. Watch some operations pics and you'll see that depanding the location of the OP, vehicles dirt and weathering are very similar, even worse sometimes.

I love it. Great job.

That looks great! The pic with the minis is really convincing. Well done Sir.
