Title: Medieval Hobby Pages
Post by: Chris Abbey on 11 February 2014, 02:16:36 PM
I have just posted a step by step painting guide on my hobby pages for Edward I.
I'm planning to add a couple of guides a week, starting off with the Curteys Miniatures for Crossed Lances.

Thanks, I really love the figures you've done for Crossed Lances, and the painting that you have done for the figures that appear in the rule book are awesome. Now I have a complete set of Crossed Lance miniatures I am planning to paint one of each of them and post an article on my hobby pages. I'm looking at approaching it from a simple technique to get miniatures on the table that look pretty good and have not taken long to paint. The combination of the beautiful transfers Battle Flag have done and Army Painter Quick tone and anti-shine make a winning combination for this. I've already done William Wallace and will be writing this up shortly and am going to make a start on some of the squires today.

This week I have added a new painting guide to my hobby pages, this time for the Crossed Lances Sir William Marshall figures.

Once again, it is a quick and easy painting guide for those who want painted figures for their gaming table, but need to fit their painting in to a couple of lunch time sessions!
