Continuing the sage of the Sick Kids Gang, we play tested the vehicle rules. Being a fan of "The Great Race" "Speed Racer" and "The Wacky Races" I made up a race to the top of "The Hamburger Hill" a multi level peak that is said to be haunted by many strange beasts.
The idea was that all the racers started at the same time and had to collect as many plot points on the way to the top....avoiding the beasts and traps along the way. What started out to just be me and Mads racing about making Vrooomm Vroom noises ended up with 1 nurse and 3 other kids as well....and yes as part of the rules I made them all make car noises.....heehe ;D
Needless to say it was VERY noisy and ALOT of fun. Sorry no pics, the players didn't want to have pics of themselves with tubes and drips. But the smiles were HUGE :) :) :)
Our plot points were things like new tires, NOS fuel, special ammo and the "Haunted Steering Wheel".
We may not have been playing "strictly" to the rules, but I am VERY happy to say that I made the 4 very sick children and all the onlookers forget their pain and troubles for an hour or so. We even got a mention on the in hospital kids radio, and asked if I could play again the next day.
Looks like I may have started the next generation of gamers, even some of the parents were asking where they could get this game.....ahhh my work there is done ;)

Stay tuned for more weird action from the "Ward Warriors"....

I'm glad everyone had a lot of fun. We did a read through of the vehicle rules today and I'm glad to say we're almost done. All kinds of fun stuff can happen with all kinds of new rules :D
