This isn't really in the wrong place. My intention is to use these in my Dark Ages game as a source of Strathcylde cavalry for Saga and skirmish cavalry / Germanic mercenaries for Dux Brit.
I've read a lot of things that say these are pretty ropey. I've written a review of my initial experiences on the blog here:

Overall, I think that for the price these are brilliant.

Nice review, I'm not completely sold on plastics yet, so the more I read, the better I can form an opinion.
I have some Napoleonics, and haven't really tried painted them yet but see they are a lot less detailed than the metals I'm used to.

A sound review.
I've just bought some and share your views - perfect for the price. If you want super detail you need metal, not these chaps.
