Title: Reaper Barbarians/Vikings Size Comparisons
Post by: pcelella on February 14, 2014, 04:23:46 PM
I'm working on a 28mm fantasy, Northern Barbarian army, so far composed primarily of the Copplestone Grenadier barbarians available from Mirliton. I'm thinking of mixing in a few Reaper barbarians in with the units, and I'd also like to include a Hearthguard/Huscarl unit built with Reaper barbarians and vikings wearing at least some chainmail. My question is whether or not the Reaper figures mix size-wise with the Copplestone ones, and also, since I am basing my units with 3 figures to a 60mm x 30mm base, will the Reaper figures fit on this size base?

Thanks

Hi! Did you have any particular Reaper minis in mind? We have a couple of the Copplestone sculpts: the messenger barbarian and the shapeshifter shaman. We also have some Reaper highlanders they scale pretty well with. I can post some pix for you tomorrow.

I collect barbarians. If you get the really old Reaper barbarians they scale well with the copplestone ones. But if you get the ones from about 2004 on they are mostly a lot larger from reaper with a few exceptions. Hope that helps :)

The Professor did a Norse army prior to the rise of this forum on his website, here's a link that contains numerous examples of Copplestone and Reaper Miniatures together:
