I just received a newsletter from Osprey in which they offer a PDF copy of Men-at-Arms #183 "Modern African Wars: Rhodesia" for free download. Since it wasn't indicated as "restricted to subscribers", had an access code or anything similar (and I suspect it will be a time-limited offer, or maybe a promotion for their forthcoming Congo book), I thought I'd bring it to your attention.

To avoid bots reading out the address and to prevent automated downloads, I've added the link in code tags below. You'll need to copy it and paste it to your address bar, which should start the download immediately (or open it as a PDF, depending on your settings).

I've checked the download for malware and skimmed the contents - indeed, it is the full book including covers, colour plates and all. Quite interesting with several pics I hadn't seen before, and an interesting starting point for those interested in the Bush Wars setting, methinks.

I shall do this when I get home as I dont think my would appreciate that kind of download now as he wants to maintain a monopoly on Despotism....
