Title: My frostgrave warband

I'll be honest, parts of this warband started of as a group for Songs of blades and heroes. But it was frostgrave that gave me the spirit to finish them. (ish, faces could use a bit more work)

I went with a simple colour scheme on these guys. I spend surprising amounts of time doing the shading on all the grey of the cloaks.

Ranger and Knight. The ranger really could use so more work on the face, but he's a DnD miniature and really doesn't have much detail there to begin with. Picture makes it look even worse then in real life. (don't they always)

4 Swordsmen, the backbone of my force. Again the faces could use more work.


Still haven't entirely decided what sort of wizard he's supposed to be. The dragon head on his staff and the flame on his apprentices suggest evocation.

Nice gang! I like that apprentice model in particular.

Are those swordsmen LOTR figures? They look familiar...

Thanks! I like how the apprentice looks capable in his own right without overshadowing the wizard.

And your right, they are men of the last aliance. they came in a box with elves I bought ages ago for conversion fodder.
