Hi folks,
by chance, I came across a very reasonably-priced copy of Aurora's 1/48 De Havilland DH-10A kit (1972 issue with vac-formed base, bagged in original box). After fighting the original impulse to try to flog it over the web, I decided to build and paint it for my Back of Beyond collection- I wanted one since I flew Ignatieff's on a bombing run on Bolshevik invasion barges, and it is not so large as to become a nightmare to handle once built (vs. a HP O/400, for example).
Problem is, I haven't been able to find conclusive information on their use in India (campaigns, squadrons) beyond Wikipedia, which I am reluctant to rely on. Furthermore, the only relevant colour profile I found shows what appears to be a brown-khaki/buff paintjob, and while that looks nicely military-ish, I wonder if Silver Dope might be an alternative option (the collection is "Hollywood History NWF" anyway, so not specifically tied to a specific conflict).
Any suggestions and pointers, preferably fact-founded ;), will be gratefully considered.
Thanks in advance!

And there's another version in this print (scroll down to B11):
