Title: Childrens mock battle
Post by: Anderson Collection on 16 February 2014, 03:33:44 PM
Hi gents,

I added these figures to my collection a few weeks ago they are to represent the children of the Saracens and Crusaders who would battle between the camps using wooded swords being cheered on by there parents.

That is a lovely and off beat idea! Really creative...

It reminds me of a friend in the States who after several years of wargaming turned Quaker and his hobby became a moral conundrum to him. The consequence was that he started to play games like this where no one got kilt dead.

Very cool.  The upcoming Hero Quest game has two little children adventurers, dressed up like children from Neverland...lol.  Always fun to get the kids involved!

I recognize the hasslefree figures in the first photo, but who makes the 3 kids in the next photo? Great looking figures by the way. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice! Where did you get the children figures? I recognize a few by Hasslefree, but what about the others?

Wow, I've seen some serious disagreements during our games over the years, even a few thrown dice, but I daresay they never came to bloodshed. ;)

That's one way to skirt the issue.  :)
