I just finished these rather cartoonish Hazmat suit guys and thought I'd share them. I got them from the Recreational Conflicts booth at Rock Con a few years ago.

Actually I might have gotten this batch at Little Wars a few years before that, because I've bought a couple sets by now. The other set is being converted to classic Star Trek environmental suits. Like I said, they're on the cartoonish side, but it gives them a certain charm. Here they are next to a lake of black sludge. I wonder what could be at the bottom of that large pool of goo.

Lovely clean paintjobs there.

I agree, the cartoony look gives them a ton of charm.
Solid paint, and love the entire look of the unit and the terrain.

Look good. Always nice to see Hazmats. :D
I like the pool of goo.

Its peculiar but hazmats are always appealing. Nice paintwork.
Is the goo pool home made or store bought? It looks very authentic.

Noiw you have me wanting to paint my Victory Force Hazmat figures...
Gracias,

Thank you for the kind comments. I really like how simple these guys look. They remind me of the hazmat suits from Monsters Inc.
Cheetor: Making the goo pool was simple. Cut a piece of plasticard to the right shape. Then sprayed black. Then gloss sprayed a couple times with super glossy spray.

I will try that, thanks. No warpage issues with the irregular shape and multiple paint layers it appears. I wouldnt have guessed that.
Thanks for the info.
Have you seen the recently released Foundry hazmats (http://www.wargamesfoundry.com/our-ranges/castingroomminiatures/tim-prows-street-violence)? They might look large alongside the rather slight Recreational Conflict figures, but I like that its an unarmed hazmat team.
