Trying to get back into painting, I've really struggled to get into it recently, busy with work and playing a lot of basketball really get in the way of painting, I've finished 2 barrows in another thread and this seems to be helping me back into painting, the figures below I'm hoping will keep that trend going!

Both finished & W.I.P., you've got some GLORIOUS minis there. Your sense of color & brushwork are EXCELLENT; & the bases are TERRIFIC. Keep up the OUTSTANDING WORK!
-
Those are looking very good. Nicely done!
-
They look fantastic! I love Aenur - he came out great as a dark elf.
-
Nice work! I especially like the top picture (the elf - one of my favorite GW/Citadel models) and the plastic wraith. But all are quite nice.

Great work!

Cheers, Gibby.
I must admit I am not so up to date with GW stuff.
Nice concept for that sculpt.

-
Great figure, and you are indeed doing him justice!
-
Sweet! Very nice painting on a very nice model!
-
Nice work, mate!
:-*
That is twice in a week that you have had me looking at the GW site.
And that does not happen very often nowadays, I can tell ya!
;)
-
Cheers Paul, there's a few gems amongst the poop on the gw site
-
Lovely figures and painting. Could give me the recipe for the two handed sword chaos guy in green armour please?
Cheers

Cor those are a bit nice! :-*
When I say a bit, I actually mean a lot.
-
Those columns are outstanding.
Where do they come from?
-
Very nice paint jobs.
What's the grass surface you're playing on? it looks very realistic.
-
One of those garden mat/liner things - looks a treat. I don't know what it's actually called.
-
It's a hanging basket liner, about £5 from most garden centres, the columns are gw arcane ruins, not too bad, but had to use a Dremel to add detail as it only seems to be on the front and not the sides.
-
Basket liner added to the list! Thank you very kindly...
-
The scenery & minis are BEAUTIFUL. I love what you've done with the Old Grenadier Evil Warriors...GREAT brushwork & palette. VERY WELL DONE!
-
Rest of the arcane ruins, I figure these will be okay for my argonaut figures too
(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v430/majorsmith/imagejpg1_zps5aca76a4.jpg)
-
Very nicely done too.
-
Gorgeous stuff... :-*
-
Fantastic work with those ruins!
-
A few new bits, mordheim necromancer who looks damn creepy! Moon duke, chaos marauder, and chaos dwarf

-
Lovely brushwork and terrain pieces look outstanding as well.
I wonder if I'm able to find that garden liner thingy here abouts...
-
The Old & Relatively Old Boys look SPLENDID. A FINE bit of brushwork & basing with an eye for colors can wonders on the older minis bringing out the charm often lacking in the newer pieces. VERY WELL DONE!
-
Your fleshtones are fantastic!
And the hanging plant liner is a fab idea.
Jevenkan
-
Gorgeous and subtle brushwork, sir.
My favourite flavour.
:-* 8) :-*
-
That chaos dwarf is adorable! Great work all around. I'm going to have to investigate my local hardware store for a hanging plant liner.
-
Great stuff, the blue on the Moon Duke set the model of brilliantly.
-
Excellent work on great minis.
-
Great work all around but I really like the Necromancer.
-
What's the deal with "moon duke"? Is he a goblin or orc, or does his moon just happen to be sculpted in a very goblin/orc fashion? Love your figures. Keep posting!
-
Cheers guys!
-
Excellent paint work there.
-
That's great. Don't know if its been asked before but who is that tentacled dwarf mutant by?
-
The tentacled dwarf is a citadel figure long oop now, got him off eBay I've been after him for sometime
-
I wonder if I'm able to find that garden liner thingy here abouts...
I went looking for such a thing at Home Depot last week and had no luck. What they had for 'hanging basket liners' looked more like the husk of a coconut... kinda brown and hairy and shaped into a bowl... not flat... nothing like the picture.
I'm gonna have another go at one of the local dedicated garden shops... and if not there maybe Walmart.
-
Looking around online you can find 40"x60" sheets...but you have to look around a bit.
http://www.thinkmint.net/liners.html
Look at the bottom entry "liner sheet for custom fitting" etc. This was a quick search I didn't check brands, or even colour. Almost 95% of the ones that popped up were pre-shaped for planters.
-
Need to ask from a florist today as I need to get some flowers for my mother-in-law anyways :)

Beautiful bit of brushwork on one of my favourite ogre sculpts from back in the day.
Love the face and the armour...and the wood...and...you get the point.
:-* :-* :-*
-
He is great! :D
-
Thanks guys I really enjoyed painting this fella
-
Andy, these are absolutely brilliant!
-
Cracking work all round :-* :-*
cheers
James
-
Thanks Derek! Cheers James I love painting these figures
-
You've done an OUTSTANDING job with the standard bearer. The brushwork & base are inspiring to the point that I've dug out Capt. John's set of Ogres from the Vault for some attention. VERY WELL DONE!
