For my Historicon scenario, I had some of the Bronze Age Vikings painted up by John Newman (Saintrigger). Here they are:

Nice minis. However - Bronze Age? The blades look rather more like steel to me. lol
And of course Vikings are about 1500 years after the Bronze Age - ah, shoot, it's the Fantasy thread... Okay, Bronze Age Vikings now make a lot more sense... ;)

Cool looking minis and paint jobs. Are they Rattrap? What rule system where you using?
TT.

Wow, lots of confusion here. ;D
The miniatures are produced by the company Bronze Age (the same guys who do the great John Carter of Mars figures).
And I'll be using Broadsword Adventures for the rules.

Nice ones, very dynamic poses. I like the guy in lamellar armour the best. Can't wait to see them in an after action report... ;)

There is a Yahoo Group for Bronze Age Minis. There was much discussion on it a few months ago about how Vikings. The sculptor (who is really the only person running the business) is very serious about historical accuracy and Viking reenactments. There were some photos or links to photos of some reenactments. It's probably worth checking out for people on this particular forum.

Don't worry I thought exactly the same sort of thing, but you said it first.
I expect that half of the other chaps reading this thought it too.... but will they admit it ?

I confess. I was thinking 'Bronze Age Vikings... What the hell... '
::)
Send reinforcements, we're going to advance...

I won't admit it ;)
Maybe we should have a special 'made an ass of myself' medallion for our profiles?

How many times have any of us read a subject line and thought one thing only to find out something else when we read the message. That's par for the course with forums. You have a limited amount of space and you put a short snappy title in and people read to get the information.
It was my fault for not specifying the company in the body of the message. ::)
