I'm looking at adding a bit of extra detail to my Flames of War bases. I've seen and bought the rural and urban bases from FoB. Are there any other suppliers that do battlefield debris for 15mm, such as bits of broken wall sections, discarded helmets, Jerry can's, tree stumps ect, designed to add detail to the figures bases?
Thanks again Marc.

Kerr and King do a range of 15mm bases, buildings and bits of terrain. Always looks really nice! Also interested in stuff like 15mm equipment too, so will be watching this thread with interest

i do have miscast of my plaster 15mm sculpts (http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=49732.msg608088#msg608088) that can be broken in debris of various sizes...
If you are interested, i've quite a bunch of them, and i can give some to you for the shipping cost!

Peter Pig do a few bits...tree stumps, broken fences etc

Hi Sangenarru, I'd be interested in some of those plaster offcuts if you're in the UK.
Cram, you might be interested in this blog post of mine: http://ahwargaming.blogspot.co.uk/2013/01/enter-mournes-rangers.html (http://ahwargaming.blogspot.co.uk/2013/01/enter-mournes-rangers.html), where I discuss how I did my scenic bases.

Sangennaru that's very kind of you. I'm going for a more rural look, so not aiming for ruins. thank you though.
Thanks everyone else for you're suggestions, you've pointed me in the direction of some cool stuff.
Ahistorian I like what you've done. Where did you get the corrugated plastic?
Had hoped to pick up some vehicle parts somewhere, like a wheel from a jeep or something. Its not easy finding these bits and bobs.

It's Wills sheeting - you can generally get it from any model railway shop for under a fiver per A4 sheet - often around £3.
When I need wheels or tires, I take them off poundstore cars - or old matchbox from charity shops. Even if the cars itself is wrong, pieces of it are often useful, and dead cheap. Charity shop matchbox? 20p. Pack of ten cars from poundland? Pound. And you can use the wheel-less remains as wrecks!
I'm painting up a VSF unit at the moment - all the cogs come from inside wind-up tanks. The jump-off markers in a village project that will be posted once I have pictures were just made of poundstore tank wheels (I know, why did they have them at all!?) under pva-ed kitchen paper.

you should then just head for wooden parts... fences at first! :)
for anyone interested in the debris: PM me for addresses! :)

You should also take a look at Ironclad miniatures http://ironcladminiatures.com/en/ (http://ironcladminiatures.com/en/) - they do Flamers of War style bases with broken walls and other debris. I have some and they look the business.
Although of course now I look on their website I cannot find them anywhere. That is odd? I picked mine up at a show so I cannot remember if they had them on the site before.

That's ok, Early War Miniatures 20mm Zone (http://earlywarminiatures.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=429&zenid=e5af266337c05f90cda755a8d3e4ed03) has picked up the Skytrex lines.
They are aces to deal with.
The take-away is this.. Skytrex is gone. 20mm Zone are great chaps with cool stuff.

Old Glory UK has the 15mm Command Decision too.

I thought Skytrex re-opened as a different company? Skytrex 2013 ltd?
-
I think the good doctor is sick of it all and is concentrating on his model railroad stuff. He's been selling off figure ranges left and right for a year or so.
-
Oh ok. So they exist in a streamlined format. Glad their stuff will still be available though!
