Not really sure what scale, but i think its like 30 bucks in conversion. Could be wrong. Still trying to learn more.
54mm scale guys, if there were more aliens id b all over this even with the prodos kickstarter

I like a lot of the Zvezda stuff I've seen - can't see anything on your link, but probably a reasonable kit and good value for the money.

Not bad, figures look a little thin (especially that Predator), but good detail. Not sure on the 54mm bit, if they were 25-32 I'd be a lot more excited about it. $30 seems a lot for 5 aliens, a predator and 6 modern infantrymen since you presumably won't be able to play the actual game unless you speak russian. Still might be worth it, you could always make up your own rules and just use the minis and board.

In Russia, no IP can hear you scream...
-
Zvezda normally includes English translations, so I wouldn't be super worried - I saw some forums mentioning "reprint" when I was googling it earlier. Is this a Russia re-print of a previous AVP game? After seeing the pieces I'd pass. Shame as Zvezda's been on a roll lately.

Bit weird that they put a copyright-logo on the miniatures then...
-
Aren't the "marines" modern Brits with SA-80s?
-
There are four Aliens, a Predalien and a Predator, plus modern US looking troops. This would suggest that the game is based on the awful AvP: Requiem movie. Speculation on TMP (http://theminiaturespage.com/boards/msg.mv?id=258683) suggested that they might be a Russia-only licenced item, as Zvezda apparently had some other big names as well such as Terminator Salvation and Pirates of the Caribbean.

Hmm? As mentioned, they make lots of licensed models for relatively unknown names like Marvel, Disney and Star Wars :) (OK, those are the same thing now :()
They seem to have a hand in all sorts of games, publishing the Spartacus boardgame and working with Dragon models and Arifix in some way?
Everything I own from Zvezda/Italeri (all 1/72 admittedly) has been great.

the Terminator Game looks somewhat interesting imho, something in every Scale lol :P

It would be worth $30 to me just as a curiosity. I can see some uses for the game boards too. Now how in hell am I gonna find one?
-
Most Zvezda stuff is available from Warstore...but this one might be a pinch. Perhaps ebay?
-
There have been 'toy soldier'-sized playsets before for Aliens; don't recall it being A v P, but I'll have to check the basement...

Edit: Also, for several years, there were games of Aliens at GenCon using 12" dolls, GI Joe and Aliens. So, I can still see something skirmish in the scale.
Nothing like seeing a colonist Barbie or Ken resin-ed to a wall...
Edit, part deux: Tree House Kids, definitely no Preds, but I also found I have half a dozen of the 12" bugs. Time to find me some tasty, er, brave colonial marines.
