Title: Hobby retailers in Madrid
Post by: TF Riley on February 24, 2014, 03:25:14 PM
Hello!

I'm in Madrid for the week, staying close to the city centre.

Any good retailers close by? I'm interested in modelling and painting and would like to see some of the Spanish fantasy stuff live, such as Zenit, Andrea or some of the fantasy football manufacturers.

Cheers,
Thomas

Daniel from Zenit Miniatures was so kind to recommend Quimera, which I thought only to be a webshop. Just for any other Madrid goers :)

Hi Thomas,

Regarding the retailers in Madrid please find below the list of the few ones availables;

- QUIMERA - Ask for Paco. They're specialist in Fantasy. The address for the physical store is: C/ Jorge Juan 112, metro O'Donell (line 6)

- ATLANTICA JUEGOS - Rafa, Borja, Mario or Moli can help you. Address: C/ Luna 6 , Metro Callao (line 3).

- LA FLECHA NEGRA - Address: C/ Elvira 1  -very near Quimera. They manage historical games and are the sole distributors for Old Glory in Spain. metro O'Donell (line 6)

Enjoy Madrid !!!

Regards,

Eladio

Hi Eladio!

Thank you very much! I rent an apartment next to Callao, so Atlantica will be first port of call :)

But from their wepshop, I can see that Quimera is well worth the metro ride.

I haven't been to 'La Flecha Negra', but both Quimera and Atlantica are really nice. Besides, if you are staying near Callao, you are quite close to 'Model Reyna', which covers the most traditional aspect of the hobby, i.e., railway and classic modelling, also worth of having a glance :)
