Title: Here's another guy with a large pile of unpainted metal
Post by: droppedMyBrush on February 27, 2014, 01:23:00 PM
Greetings from Canada! I'm a long time TMP/Consimworld/BoardGameGeek member adding another forum to my daily routine.

My pile of unpainted metal (and plastic!) includes 28mm Fantasy, modern/near future Street Violence, Napleonics, Old West, 15mm WotR, WW2 and Modern, 6mm ACW, WW2 and SciFi, and 1/600 Arab-Israeli Wars and Modern.

Welcome aboard.

But a word of warning. Being on this forum does not in any way diminish the pile of unpainted metal! Very much the opposite in fact.

I sense a group hug inbound....

Welcome. You'll spend a lot of time here, just stay away from the dark corners.

When someone new from Canada makes a post, I immediately think "awesome, more people to game with!".

Then I remember I live in the second biggest country on Earth.

Welcome to our group insanity. We won't force you to paint any of that pile. But you will get plenty of inspiration & encouragement. We will bug you to show us what you have painted in many different ways. I have certainly done more painting since joining this forum.

I am hopeful that it will be someone in the southern most part of Canada.
Alas, it rarely is.
But Markham is not that far
Are you going to be at HotLead in a few weeks?
